Reverend Dr. Tracie A. Daniels has been the Senior Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church, Maidens, Virginia since November 2018. A native of Louisa, Virginia, Dr. Daniels received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Mary Baldwin University; a Master of Arts degree in Teaching from George Mason University; a Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University; and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
Dr. Daniels was licensed into the Christian Ministry in September 2000 and ordained in September 2003. She served as the Senior Pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Ivy, VA for 12 years. Over the years, she’s served in various ministerial roles, such as Director of Christian Education for the Piedmont Baptist Association and Vice President and Secretary of the African American Pastors Council of Charlottesville and Vicinity. She is currently a member of the Goochland Ministers Conference.
Dr. Daniels is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated and serves in the Richmond Alumnae Chapter.
Dr. Daniels has been married to Deacon Wilbur L. Daniels for 30 years and they are blessed with four children, one daughter in law and three grandchildren. Most importantly, she loves the Lord and loves to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her favorite scripture is Ephesians 3:20 and her motto is “If I can just help somebody then my living is not in vain.”
